Michelle Steinbeck (*1990) writes prose, poetry, and for the theatre, and is a columnist for WOZ. Her debut novel, My Father was a Man on Land and a Whale in the Water, was nominated for both the Swiss and the German Book Prize. Her books and reportage have been translated into several languages. She lives in Basel.
