Katrin Eckert
Director

Katrin Eckert has been the director of the Literaturhaus Basel since 2008, and the managing director of the LiteraturBasel Association since 2012. From 2010 to 2021 she was also responsible for the International Literature Festival BuchBasel (since 2020 as co-director together with Marion Regenscheit). She studied German, history and literature in Zurich and Berlin. Among other things, she was programme director and managing director at Pendo Verlag. Prior to that she worked for literary agencies in London, and in editing and PR for various publishing houses.
Annina Niederberger

Annina Niederberger studied German philology and sociology at the University of Basel and Humboldt University, Berlin. From 2011-2015 she worked in the German Department of the University of Basel, and from 2014-2015 she co-developed and built up the subject portal Language and Literature Studies Switzerland. Since 2015 she has worked at the Literaturhaus Basel, where, since 2017, she has been responsible for programme production and PR. From 2019 to 2021, she was production manager of the Basel International Poetry Festival.
Maria Marggraf

Maria Marggraf studied Hispanic, English and Latin American Studies in Berlin and Havana. In 2020 she completed a traineeship at Lenos Verlag in Basel. Since February 2021, she has been responsible for PR, digital communication and customer care at LITERATURSPUR and offers literature walks, gives lectures, and moderates events. At Literaturhaus, she is in charge of the operations office and rentals and is involved in the International Poetry Festival Basel. She also writes poetry and lyrical prose.
Ursula Bürki
Financial Administration and Swiss Book Prize

Ursula Bürki is a bookseller, typesetter and visual designer. She was self-employed as a designer for a long time. Ursula Bürki has been working for LiteraturBasel since 2014, her job profile has changed again and again - what has remained constant is the financial administration and the Swiss Book Prize.
Noemi Parisi
Assistant PR & Production

Noemi Parisi studied visual communication and visual studies at the Basel Academy of Art and Design. Before that, she did a bachelor's degree in media and communication studies as well as theory and history of photography at the University of Zurich. She worked in the fields of communication, editing and in publishing at Cinébulletin, the factory newspaper of Rote Fabrik, the Swiss cultural foundation Pro Helvetia, and at the non-fiction publisher Rüffer und Rub. Today, she moves at the interface between text and design. Since 2023 she has been working as a PR assistant at the Literaturhaus Basel.
