Leïla Slimani

LEïLA SLIMANI (*1981 in Rabat) grew up in Morocco and studied at Sciences-Po and Media Studies at l’École Supériere. She was awarded the renowned Prix Goncourt for her novel ‘The Perfect Nanny’ (Chanson douce). ‘Watch Us Dance’ is the second in a trilogy of novels based on the story of her own family. Her most recent book, the memoir ‘The Scent of the Flowers at Night’ appeared in Luchterhand Literaturverlag.
