JONAS LÜSCHER (*1976) is philosopher and author. His first book Barbarian Spring (Frühling der Barbaren) was nominated for the German and the Swiss Book Prizes; his novel ‘Kraft’ won the Swiss Book Prize. Amongst others, Lüscher has been awarded the Max Frisch Prize of the City of Zurich. Most recently, he edited the volume ‘The Populist Planet. Reports from a World in Turmoil’ (Der populistische Planet. Berichte aus einer Welt in Aufruhr) together with Michael Zichy. He lives in Munich.
