EVAN TEPEST (*1989 in Rhineland), is and author and journalist. She studied Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies in Leipzig, Cairo and Lund. Alongside regular articles for DIE ZEIT, Die Süddeutsche, die taz and the Tagesspiegel, Tepest also wrote the column “Triple Water” for Missy Magazine. Together with Lynn Takeo Musiol, she organises the DYKE DOGS series. Her most recent book: “Power Bottom: Essays about Language, Sex and Community” (2023). Tepest lives in Berlin.
