ARNO CAMENISCH (*1978 in Tavanasa), studied at the Swiss Literature Institute in Biel. In 2009, Engeler Verlag published his first novel, ‘The Alp’, which was followed by another eleven books. His work has been translated into over 20 languages, and for his novel ‘The Shadow Over the Village’ (2021), he was awarded the Berner Literature Prize.
