Once a month, young adventurers gather at the Foyer Public to embark on an expedition to a cultural institution on Theaterplatz. This time, the journey leads to the Literaturhaus Basel.

Reading out loud can be pretty nerve-wracking — but practicing with a friend who enjoys every story, like Kiyoshi the story-loving dog, makes it a lot easier. Accompanied by author Vera Hohleiter, young book lovers will have the chance to read aloud to Kiyoshi, a Jack Russell crossbreed, who’s all ears.

For children aged 8 and upwards, without an accompanying adult. Meeting point: Foyer Public, Theater Basel. We'll head over to the Literaturhaus Basel together.
