Urs Faes, born in 1947, lives and works in Zurich. His work has received numerous awards, including the Swiss Schiller Prize and the Zolliker Art Prize. His novels “Paarbildung” (2010) and “Halt auf Verlangen” (2017) were both shortlisted for the Swiss Book Prize. His most recent publications include the short story collection “Raunächte (Twelve Nights)” (2018) and the novel “Untertags” (2020).
