Thomas Sparr

THOMAS SPARR (*1956 in Hamburg) is a literary scholar and taught at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem from 1986 to 1989. Amongst other things, he managed the Jüdischen Verlag, was the chief editor of Siedler Verlag, and today works for Suhrkamp Verlag as Editor-at-Large. His widely discussed book “Death Fugue. Biography of a Poem” (DVA) was published in 2020. As part of his research for the history of Anne Frank’s diary he combed through numerous archives. He lives in Berlin.
