Samanta Schweblin

(*1978 in Buenos Aires) has twice been shortlisted for the International Booker Prize. Her works have been translated into 25 languages. As early as 2008, she received the Premio Casa de las Américas and the Juan Rulfo Prize for her short-story collection The Truth About the Future. For Seven Empty Houses, she was awarded, among other honours, the National Book Award for Translated Literature. Samanta Schweblin lives in Berlin. Her most recent publication is Kentukis/Little Eyes (2022).
