Ronya Othmann (*1993 in Munich) writes poetry, prose, and essays, and works as a journalist. Her work has received numerous awards. Her debut novel, Die Sommer (The Summer), was published in 2020. Vierundsiebzig (Seventy-Four), her second novel, was shortlisted for the German Book Prize and received the Düsseldorf Literary Prize, the SWR Best List Prize 2024, and the Erich Loest Prize 2025. She lives in Leipzig.
