Pegah Ahmadi was born in Iran, and today lives and works in Cologne as a poet, translator and literary critic. She studied Persian literature, is a member of the Iranian writers union and, with ten published works, she is one of the best known protagonists of the Iranian poetry scene. To date, two volumes of her poetry have been published in German with Sujet Verlag: ‘Mir war nicht kalt’ (I was not cold) (2011) and ‘Wucht’ (Force) (2018).
