OLIWIA HÄLTERLEIN (*1986 in Bydgoszcz) is an author, playwright, presenter and lecturer. She studied Slavic Studies, Comparative Literature, Cultural Studies and Theatre Studies in Salzburg, Kraków and Berlin, and is a graduate of the German Literature Institute in Leipzig. Her essay «Das Jungfernhäutchen gibt es nicht» (There is no such thing as a hymen) was published in 2020. «Wir Töchter» (We Daughters) is her debut novel.
