NAVID KERMANI (*1967 in Siegen) is a writer, orientalist and journalist of Iranian descent. He has received numerous awards for his academic and literary work, including the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade and the Kleist Prize. He writes novels, essays, reportage and non-fiction. His most recent publications (co-authored with Natan Sznaider) are «Israel. Eine Korrespondenz» (Israel. A Correspondence, 2023) and «Das Alphabet bis S» (The Alphabet up to S, 2023).
