KATJA PETROWSKAJA (*1970 in Kyiv) has lived in Berlin since 1999. Her literary debut, «Maybe Esther» (Vielleicht Esther, 2014), has been translated into over 30 languages and has won numerous awards. Her most recent publications include «Das Foto schaute mich an» (The Photo Looked at Me, 2022) and «Als wäre es vorbei. Texte aus dem Krieg» (As If It Were Over. Texts from the War, 2025).
