JUDITH HERMANN (*1970 in Berlin) made a successful debut with ‘The Summer House, Later’ (1998). This was followed by other short stories and in 2014 the novel ‘Where Love Begins’. She has been honoured with many prizes for her work, including the Kleist-Prize. Her most recent novel was ‘At Home’ (2021), which was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize and received the Bremer Literature Prize 2022. The author lives in Berlin.
