Jehona Kicaj (*1991 in Kosovo) grew up in Göttingen and studied philosophy, German studies, and modern German literature in Hanover. After publishing academic work, she has also been writing literary texts since 2020. She is co-editor of the anthology Und so blieb man eben für immer. Gastarbeiter:innen und ihre Kinder (And that’s the way you stay forever: Guest workers and their children, 2023). The novel ë is her debut.
