Helen Macdonald is an author, poet, illustrator, and naturalist. Her book H is for Hawk became an internationally acclaimed bestseller, earning awards such as the Samuel Johnson Prize, the Prix du Meilleur Livre Étranger, and Costa Book of the Year. Most recently, her essay collection “Vesper Flights” was published by Hanser in 2021. “Prophet” (2023), co-authored with Sin Blaché, marks her debut novel.
