ELONA BEQIRAJ (*1997 in Lower Saxony) studied political science. As the child of Albanian immigrants, she has sought to give poetic expression to the experiences of those torn back and forth between different worlds since a young age. Her first volume of poetry ‘And we came every summer’ (und wir kamen jeden sommer, with re:sonar verlag) appeared in 2019. She lives in Berlin.
