Annie Lulu, born in Romania in 1987, is a novelist and poet. Her first novel, La Mer Noire dans les Grands Lacs, which received unanimous critical acclaim, won the Senghor Prize, the Prix de la Littérature de l'Exil, the Prix Alain-Fournier and the Prix Cocteau. Peine des Faunes is her second novel.
