Annette Pehnt (* 1967 in Cologne) publishes novels and children’s books. She lives in Freiburg and Hildesheim, where she directs the Institute for Literary Writing & Literary Studies. She has received several honours, including the Solothurn Literature Prize and the Hermann Hesse Prize. Her most recent publication is Die schmutzige Frau (The Dirty Woman 2023).
